SO... the list of positions currently open will be maintained in the first post under RL's identity. Mods, don't give anyone a title without updating that list. AND, once a request to fill a position has been resolved, delete all the posts in this thread that talk about it. Ideally, this thread should NEVER hit a second page.

All positions imply you have a chara RPing under the alias you control, unless otherwise indicated (eg, if you are the King of Floret, you should have a profile put together so you can RP when the King's presence is required).

Duties of the various peoples:

- Librarian - Moderates "Off Topic" board, deals with posting the MoM and keeping the contests running smoothly.
- Greeter – Greets new users, offers to help in case of questions. Kind of a cool position actually… You get to be everyone’s friend. Must log in at least 2-3 times a week.
- Friar - Posts new recipes once/week
- Assistant Friar – should help post/test recipes
- Gatehouse Keeper - Moderates Gatehouse and archives
- Abbey Recorder – Mods everywhere. Generally helps clean up OOC junk. Deals with the Home page
announcements.

- Abbot (Currently: "Caretaker")– Mod over Redwall Abbey, esp. the Abbey Proper.
- Abbey Champion – Guardian of Redwall Abbey, can occasionally have dreams about Martin when necessary, but this should be done for the benefit of a story arc and cannot impose authority over any other beast.
- Infirmary Keeper - Mod for Infirmary (once added), currently RP only
- Orchard Keeper - Mod for Abbey grounds
- Bell ringer – Mod for Bell tower, in charge of announcements

- Captain of the Guards – Mod of the walltops (once added), currently RP only and serving as Redwall’s unofficial protector, but WITHOUT Martian’s sword.

- Badger Lord – Mod for Salamandastron

- Horde leader – Heckle, irritate, intimidate. Attempt world domination. Major assaults should be done in story arc threads only.

- King of Floret – Mod for Southsward

- Log-a-log – Mod for Guosim Shrew Camp

- Guardian of Noonvale (Abbot/chieftain type chara...) – Mod for Northlands

- Skipper – Moderates River Moss

- Redwall Badger Mum – RP only, but should watch all threads involving dibbuns closely

- Cellar Keeper – RP only
- Sparra Leader – RP only
- Sergeant of Long Patrol – RP only
- Foremole – RP only

Question: To apply for a position, do you have to also have a character to fit that position?
E.g. Horde Leader -Namaste - Fehrin.

Yes, you really ought to. Not everyone has held to that, unfortunately.

Alongside Tessa/Jessie, Namaste is now no longer with us. Her positions are now up for graps as well.

If you want the position, but do not want to create a chatacter for the position, both TJ and Namaste have agreed to let you use the characters for the positions.

Of course you can always make a new character to fill the position

Just make a suitable character (or take over the previous character) then let me or Vik know so we can up-date the list.
And remember, you must remain active if you take a position.

hmm...Odd...looked in the character profiles and can't find it either.
...Looks like you'll have to make your own character, Shade :/

it seems that both the character profile for the badger lord and the stg. of the long patrol have gone missing (that or even i dont have permission to see it)
So who ever what's these positions, will have to make their own character

Sorry Kiara. I deleted my characters when I left a last year, but if you want Shade I can send you the profile again if you want to use my characters. Sgt. of long patrol and Badger Lord.

I'm not sure if Shadetail still want's the position of Sgt. of long patrol. She hasn't been all that active recently.

On another note, Narvis is resigning so that means Captain of the Redwall Guards and Cellar Keeper are now back up for grabs.

And Vikenti has offered to give position of Badger Lord to Kariska.

And I think that sums up the updates of the Positions
