Two of a Kind (Kiara, Marsh)

OOC: Now I have to apologize, I have no idea if cutting the hamstrings is a permanent injury. I'm assuming that if properly fixed, they would heal fine, but the internet hasn't yielded any results thus far.

BIC:
Savas cursed Gray's name as he jumped back to avoid the arc of the badger's mace. The polecat immediately realized his mistake in letting Eve to herself. But, the quick thinking villain wasn't about to let her get away with that. He knew he couldn't kill his sister, but he could stop her from running. Savas jumped towards his sister's back slashing out with his blade at the back of her upper legs. He intended to cut her hamstrings and stop her from making an escape.

The pompous stoat, seeing that his commander was in no position to talk, decided to speak for him. "You will pay for your treachery, Whitestripe!" the stoat declared as he pointed his scimitar at the badger, "your reputation as an honest mercenary is sullied forever!" The ferret, now mostly recovered from his Osgod's chocking, drew a makeshift sword and menaced the two giants with it. The thin weasel and runty rat had daggers in paw. However, none of the three were eager to engage a badger or a wolverine. They all backed away, their weapon's shaking in their paws.

( ooc - I would assume that it would heal over time. I take it, it would like like spraining/tearing any muscle. When you do, the muscle actually rips ... So I guess that is what we will go by. LOL. )


The female polecat, listened to the conversation of Gary and Osgod, though keeping an eye on her male counterpart and the sword he had fixed at her neck. She smile softly, thankful that the wolverine would not leave her for her brother.

Eve went wide eyed as Gary swung his sword at the twins. Though he intended not to hit her with it, she still jumped back from the swing, oddly enough, the same jump that Savas had done.
It had taken her a moment, before she shook her head, turning to Osgod and began to run towards him, away from Gary and her brother.
Her focus was on Osgod and getting to him, she hadn't noticed her brother jumpping towards her back side, slashing at her upper legs.
She let out a scream, falling to the ground, though thankfully her arms broke the fall.
After a moment she came back to her senses sitting up, She felt her warm blood seep out of her leg, though it didn't seem as bad as it could be, just deep enough to make her immobile.

She looked up, over at Savas and the four beasts that he had aligned with him, then Gary, and finally to Osgod. She tried to get up, only to fall to the ground once again. She winched, her leg throbbing with pain, and unable to bend her knee without extreme pain shooting up her body. She turned to watch her brother and make sure he didn't try anything stupid.
She shook her head. "Are you that desperate to have me with you, you'd do something as crazy as this?" She asked him, although she knew that he would do almost anything for them to be united, in his causes, she didn't think he'd cause her physical harm, especially one such as this where she couldn't move on her own. Her disappointed in her brother hit a new high.

Osgod barely had time to process what Gray had said before the badger raised his mace as if to strike.  Growling low in his throat, he moved a stride closer to the badger in order to give him less room to swing.  However, just as he expected a blow to fall, the mercenary turned abruptly and moved to attack Savas.   

"My apologies. My services end here, Lord Savas!"

Surprised, the wolverine took a moment to process what had just happened.  As he quickly considered the change of events, both polecats leaped back out of range of Gray's mace, and Savas' lackeys drew their weapons as the warlord cursed the badger.  A second later Eve screamed as her brother wounded her, and Gray rushed upon the male polecat. 

Leaving the badger to deal with his one time employer, Osgod rounded on the stoat, who now had his back to the wolverine.   

"You will pay for your treachery, Whitestripe!  Your reputation as an honest mercenary is sullied forever!"

Seizing the vermin by the shoulder, the big mustelid violently spun the arrogant creature around to face him and dashed the scimitar from his paws.  Glancing over to where Eve lay moaning, he dug his claws into the beast's shoulder and shook him violently. 

"If I were you, I'd tell your mates to stand down unless they want to get slaughtered, stoat."

"Are you that desperate to have me with you, you'd do something as crazy as this?"

Savas gave a triumphant smile as he looked upon his fallen sister. "I would have preferred to do it in a less violent manner," he replied, "but I am not above turning to such methods." Seeing that his minions were distracting Osgod, Savas turned to the most immediate threat, Gray. "I'm warning you Gray," Savas snarled, "you might be big, but I can still take you down."

Savas decided to take the advantage and attack before Gray got the chance to swing again. He charged straight at the badger, knowing his opponent's large weapon would be less effective in close range. As he neared Gray, Savas drew a poisoned blade with his left paw, still holding his sword in the other. The polecat slashed at his opponent's left leg with his badger forged sword, attempting to hamper his movement. Then, quick as a fox, Savas continued moving and started to sprint around the badger's left side. As he passed Gary's shoulder he made a running leap and attempted to stab the poisoned knife into his left arm. 

Meanwhile the stoat was starting to feel the pressure from Osgod (literally ). "Alright! Alright! Back off mates, leave the wolverine alone," the stoat called to the others. The back off from the giant mustelid, lowering their weapons. "Surround Eve, you bloody idiot!" the stoat suddenly shouted, defiant as ever, "don't let her get away." He began to struggle violently, trying to free himself from Osgod's grasp. His lackeys formed a triangle around Eve, the lithe weasel crouching next to her with a knife at her temple.

"Eh wolverine, let the boss go or I'll mar 'er pretty face," the weasel called to Osgod. With Savas busy fighting Gray, he was less worried about what the warlord would think of his actions.

Eve glared at her twin brother, then watched him begin his assault on Gary.
By now, her legs and arms were full of her own blood as she kept trying to keep pressure on her injury, while watching Savas.

She turned her head, to Osgod when the stoat called off his men on Osgod. She smiled that they seemed to be retreating somewhat. She silently cursed to herself as the stoat then instructed the others to surround her. “Like I could actually get away with one of my legs this injured!” She called out as she watched the three surround her.
She let out of a scream as he weasel held a knife to her temple. She whimpered a little, she couldn’t fight with him, lest she let go of her leg and lose ever more blood.
Knowing they would plunge the knife into her head, either to scar or kill, if Osgod released the stoat and went to help her, or if Gary got away from Savas to help her, so the female did the only thing that she could think of, one thing she thought she would never do…
“Savas!” She called to her brother, not seeing any other option. At least this way, it would allow him to be distracted for Gary and Osgod to decided what they are going to do with the stoat, and then regroup and find a way out.

Hearing Eve's cry, Savas turned away from his fight quickly. He saw the weasel standing above her knife in paw, and his eyes lit up with cold rage. "You idiot!" he growled, "I need her alive!" He rushed at the weasel, who jumped back from Eve with an alarmed expression.

"I wasn't gonna hurt her," the weasel whined, "I was just keepin' the wolverine away."

Savas knelt next his sister, putting his arm around her and forcing her into a standing position. "Come on and help me," he growled at the large ferret, "let's get her out of here." The ferret put an arm around her also, and between the two of them they tried to carry her away from Osgod. The weasel and the rat backed off also, menacing the large beast with their small weapons.   

The stoat, seeing that no help was coming, lost his head. "Savas, you backstabber!" he yelled. He drew a knife from his belt and tried to stab it up into the arm that Osgod was holding him with, struggling to escape.
